Our legacy

Three decades in the world's largest chilli market

From a single trading desk in the Byadgi APMC yard to an owned processing facility supplying buyers across India and the Gulf.

MKB Enterprises grew out of a local spice trading initiative started 35 years ago by Murtuja Khalilsab Belavagi, whose word-of-mouth reputation for honest grading made him a trusted name in Byadgi. Established formally in 2012, the company today is driven forward by his sons - Sameer Murtuja Belavigi, who handles purchase and overall work management, and Mohin Murtuja Belavigi, who runs manufacturing - both based in Byadgi, opening direct trade lanes to the Gulf and beyond while keeping the same standard the family started with.
