DD is the thick-skinned Dabbi grade of the Byadgi family - broader pods that carry a heavy colour load together with a solid, warm heat. It suits extractors and masala houses that want Byadgi colour without giving up pungency.

Byadgi belt, Haveri district, Karnataka. MKB Enterprises buys direct from farmers and the Byadgi and Guntur market yards, then cleans, grades and dries the lots in our own 2-acre sun-drying yard.
